Interest !?

There appears to be little enthusiasm for this Forum and almost no input from Members. It's purpose was to encourage interaction, particularly from relatives. Basic information was not forthcoming- even info on Members relatives, which must have been well known, was not offered. Birth & Death dates/Photos and Certificates which were offered, were never received.

Family History research can be an expensive hobby and all info submitted by Members reduces possible expenditure by me.

Also my motivation was to try to re-establish contact with Cousins/relatives who have had no contact for years (some indeed have never met) and research our common heritage .. sadly this has not happened. It appears that Social Networking sites have the upper hand (which have a different role) and it remains to the few who have a genuine interest in our roots to devote their energies to genealogy on behalf of our families/descendants.
